Once your plan is complete there is much to consider....

 

Funding: How are you going to fund your business? Depending on your start up costs you may need to consider a bank loan or government funding to get off the ground. Consider having cash flow to support you for at least the first three to twelve months of operation.

Structure: How are you going to structure your business? Consider which legal structure will suit you best and also remember to research the tax implications of that particular structure.

ABN's, Business Names and Company Names: You will be required to register an ABN (Australian Business Number) and either a Business Name or a Company name to operate a Business in your state. We advise that you include specific information or keywords about your business within your business name.

Domain Names: It's also important once you register your business name to grab your domain name too. We advise to get your domain name through whoever you will be hosting your website with and including your keywords in your domain name. You can always grab as many domains as you like that include lots of different keyword phrases and point all of these towards your chosen domain. Location: Which location will be best for your business? How will you go about researching your location? Can you work from home? Can you situate yourself near your competitors?
